Ahmed Hosny Saleh Metwally
Ahmed is a PhD candidate in educational technology, School of Information Science and Technology, Northeast Normal University, and assistant lecturer at Helwan University. He holds an MSc and BSc in educational technology from Helwan University. He is working on implementing gamification in education through investigating different gamification learning element and features of gameful design and approaches that might help for better understanding perceived experience. Ahmed has experience in developing educational software packages according to instructional design models. Moreover, He taught the educational technology courses for under and post-graduate students. He participated and published international studies in acknowledged and prestigious international conferences e.g. GamiFin, CSEDU, IEEE ICALT, eLmL, EITT.
Technology-Enhanced Learning (TEL), E-Learning, Gamification, Instructional Design, Massive Open Online Courses (MOOCs). In addition, preparing for future research publications include a publication that focuses on a better understanding of technology-enhanced learning, including highlighting some of the challenges and opportunities that TEL brings to the education systems.
